We believe in nurturing the whole child by guiding and helping our children to develop their moral, aesthetic, physical, intellectual, emotional, and social domains to the full so that they will become well rounded citizens.
Learning Environment
At Pupil Tree, our classrooms are open, nurturing, and highly participatory. Mentors guide children
through a journey of self-discovery while getting to know their individual learning styles and interests.
By giving children the freedom to explore and experience new things, we help them become confident
in who they are and what they want to do.

At Pupil Tree, we believe that:
- Children learn best when they work in an atmosphere of open inquiry and mutual respect.
- The school should provide a safe, supportive, and challenging environment, with clear goals and
high expectations for children’s achievement and conduct. - Education is relationship-based and that children learn best when teachers fully understand the interests, motivations, and individual learning styles of each of their students.
- Extracurricular and co-scholastic activities should be open to all children who wish to
participate, regardless of their innate ability.

more “mother/father” at heart first and teacher next. This is the core quality that makes the
heart beat at Pupil Tree. Every teacher wants to make a difference and ensure that “no child is
left behind”. Apart from this what differentiates Pupil Tree Teachers from the rest is the
positive energy, professionalism, always ready for change mindset, ready to experiment with
new ideas and never give up attitude to continuously improve. This is the core work culture of
our institutions. This attitude makes our mentors a “Dream Team”.
Teaching Methodology
At Pupil Tree innovation is the key word. Our teaching methodology seeks to broaden a student’s horizon by engaging and challenging them through varied activities, making them successful both academically and socially. Students are also encouraged to develop questions, make choices, form opinions and reflect on their work, thus developing self-worth and an ability to assess and take ownership for their own progress. Building a sense of responsibility is at the core of all academic and co-curricular activities at Pupil Tree.

curricular subjects.Thematic learning over the entire academic year which serves to establish Inter-disciplinary links across subject areas, and grade levels, making cross-curricular learning relevant for the students.
Teaching Resources
Teaching Aids : The mentors prepare and use appropriate teaching aids to aid their teaching and
explanation of the concepts taught in the classrooms.
Smart Classrooms; Pupil Tree classrooms have smart boards connected to high speed broadband networks with access to varied digital resources including lesson plans, worksheets, multimedia, question banks, online assessments etc.
IT Labs: are extensively used for research, project work, gamefication and programming
Science and Math Labs: Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs are integral part of conducting
teaching, undertaking of experiments in the higher grades.
Library Resource Centre- Is used by all grades for inculcating reading, improving writing skills as
well as research work.
Field Trips
Pupil Tree firmly believes in experiential learning through Field trips. The children right from Kindergarten to High school goes on a minimum six to eight field trips a year. The Field trips offer our children priceless learning opportunities that go beyond the confines of a conventional classroom environment. These educational outings give students the chance to experience:
- Real-world settings,
- Participate in practical activities,
- Expanding Perspectives and Promoting Exploration
- Speak with experts in various industries and deepen understanding of academic subjects.
Assessments & Grading
- Assessments will be conducted periodically as per the requirement of the ICSE/CBSE/SSLC Board. The average of the assessments will be considered for final promotion.
- Absence from assessments is strictly discouraged and only genuine cases will be
considered. - Promotion to higher classes is decided on the basis of continuous assessment.
- Cheating, helping another student or any other malpractice in an examination disqualifies the student for the whole examination.
- If a holiday is declared on the scheduled day for assessment, the same will be conducted
after the last day of the assessment. - Progress report will be issued after the Midterm/Final Assessments on the PTM Day.
- Absence of students and non attendance of parents on PTM Day will result in the report
being retained till a future date which will be intimated to parents
